“Imposter Syndrome: The Silent Killer of Designer Confidence”
Let me tell you something, Imposter syndrome is the silent killer of your design career. You know the feeling—thinking you're not good enough, that you don’t belong, or that someone’s going to find out you’re “faking it.” Guess what? Every designer feels it, even the ones who look like they’ve got it all figured out.
David Kelley, the founder of IDEO, said it best: “The best way to build confidence is to get into the arena and do the work.”
Take it from me, I’ve had this nagging feeling all my career, but the real growth happens when you get in, make mistakes, and keep going. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just do the work, trust yourself, and the confidence will follow.
Don’t let imposter syndrome hold you back. You’re more capable than you think.

Love,
Sid.
