💥 #68 - Ringing in 2026

Hi Design Buddies!

2026 is here for some of us and is on the horizon for the rest of us. I wanted to reach out and wish you an incredible new year with a lot of joy, warmth and GROWTH!

I don’t have any roles today. Sorry.

But honestly I didn’t want you working.

As I conclude one year of these emails, I can’t help but think about the impact Design Scramble has had. Honestly I don’t know of how much impact there has been. How does one measure it? It’s not subscriber count for sure…

I have received messages from some of you that you are happy to get these emails, not just the job lists but also the blog posts and musings. This means a lot.

A lot of you have forwarded these to friends, and that’s amazing. I wish more of you would… cause it’s nice to share…

A few have gotten jobs. I get your messages! Yay.

But, as always, the human demons kick in and I see that people unsubscribe (yes more subscribe than not). I wont lie, this stings. I am a designer. I fix things. I make things for people to enjoy. And I scrutinize the 3 unsubscribes after the previous email. It’s a tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny fraction. But it stings. I am a human designer after all. And thank god for that.

So if you ever wonder if this is ai written… there you have it… I have emotions.

To wrap this up!

Hope you had a great 2025. And I hope that 2026 is even greater. Am sure it will be.
