“Kidlin’s Law: Clarity is THE battle”

I read this article about Kidlin’s Law the other day:

“If you can write the problem down clearly, the matter is already half solved.” 

At first, it sounds simple, but it’s deceptively powerful.

Most problems feel bigger in your head than they are on paper. Write them down, and the fog lifts. Suddenly, what seemed impossible becomes clear and actionable.

Take design, for example. A client says, “The interface feels confusing.” 

Vague. Unfixable.

But written as “The navigation has too many layers and hides key actions,” the solution practically jumps out at you.

Before hunting for clever fixes, write the problem in plain words. That clarity is half the work done.

The best designers? They articulate.

The best designers, they articulate problems, even better than articulating solutions sometimes.
