❤️ #60 - McKinsey and Bain consulting

Hi Friend!
I took a little break from the endless job that researching and writing newsletters is! But am back now.

Have a few new roles below.

But first, I also came across something that was terribly interesting that I thought I should share - Pizzint!

🍕 PizzINT: When Pizza Becomes a Global Signal

PizzINT is a website that tracks pizza orders near the Pentagon. Why? Because, apparently, when generals stay late and the war room heats up, Domino’s gets slammed.

It’s called the “Pentagon Pizza Index.” The joke: if local pizza shops get busy, the world might be about to get spicy too.

Why do you care (as a product designer)?

  • It’s a masterclass in storytelling. Boring data → funny narrative → viral product.

  • It’s design with personality. Clean dashboard, DEFCON-style “pizza alert levels,” tongue-in-cheek branding.

  • It’s sticky as hell. People screenshot it, share it, talk about it.

The takeaway: You don’t need new data to make something fresh. Sometimes you just remix a weird old idea (like Cold War pizza delivery rumors) into a product that feels alive.

Ok, now back to the jobs that you came here for 🙂
