“Take a break”

I know this is easer said than done, I know that not everyone is in the same place at the same time. But making time to take of from design work, the everyday or the routine can be helpful. This is not something new I made up, so here’s a few points from other smart people.

How Taking Breaks Actually Helps Your Work

1. Gives You Fresh Perspective – Walking away for even a few minutes helps reset your brain, making it easier to spot mistakes or come up with new ideas. Imagine what a few weeks does.

2. Prevents Burnout – Constant work without breaks leads to exhaustion. Taking time away helps maintain long-term creativity.

3. Reduces Eye Strain & Fatigue – Staring at a screen for hours isn’t great for your eyes or posture. Short breaks improve focus and energy. Ha, this is not going to happen with the endless tiktok scrolling is it?

4. Boosts Creativity – Some of my best ideas come when I’m not at my desk!

That said, I am off on summer break! I may or may not send something out in the next 2 weeks.
